FiveM: install ESX or QBCore

ESX and QBCore are the two most popular roleplay frameworks. Both need the MySQL database on your plan (see the database guide first).

Download the framework — es_extended (ESX) or qb-core (QBCore) — plus its dependencies (oxmysql and the listed required resources).
Upload the resource folders into /resources/ (grouping them, e.g. /resources/[core]/, is tidy).
Import the framework’s .sql files into your database.
In server.cfg, start them in order, e.g. ensure oxmysql then ensure es_extended (or ensure qb-core), followed by your other resources.
Restart and watch the console for load errors.

Add resources a few at a time so you can spot any that fail to start. Heavy RP builds need more RAM — upgrade your plan if the console warns about memory.
