# Set up automatic restarts

Survival games (Rust, Palworld, Valheim, modded Minecraft) build up memory the longer they run. A scheduled restart keeps them fast.

1. Open your server → **Schedules** → **Create Schedule**.
2. Set it to run daily at a quiet hour (for example 05:00).
3. Add a **Power: Restart** task.

A nightly restart reclaims memory and applies game updates automatically. It does not delete your world — progress is saved first.
