Most “lag” comes from distance, not the server. To keep ping low:

- Choose the **location** closest to the majority of your players (Singapore, Germany or Ashburn, US).
- For survival games, size your plan for the *mature* world — memory grows as players build.
- Schedule a nightly **restart** to clear memory build-up.
- Remove mods you no longer use — heavy mods cost CPU and memory.
