# How your $1 first month works

https://yn-hosting.com/knowledgebase/article/how-your-1-first-month-works

You can start any plan for just **$1 for your first month**. It works like this:

- The $1 confirms your payment method is valid — that’s the only charge for month one.
- Your server is live immediately, with the full resources of the plan you picked.
- There is **no surprise auto-charge**: you’ll be reminded before the first full month renews at the normal price.
- You can **cancel anytime** before renewal from Billing → Services, at no cost.

It’s the cheapest way to try your server with real players before committing.
