# Connecting to your game server

Once your server shows **Running** in the panel, connecting takes seconds.

1. Open your server in the control panel and copy the **Address** shown at the top (it looks like `123.123.123.123:27015`).
2. In your game, open the server browser or the *Direct Connect* option and paste that address.
3. Hit connect — you’ll join your own server as the first player.

Share the same address with your friends so they can join too. If the server shows **Offline**, press **Start** and give it a minute to boot.
